Crowns And Bridges

Full Metal

Full metal restorations limit bacteria retention with their smooth surface, and are perfect for cases where occlusal space is limited. In addition, they’re well known and recommended for their longevity, durability and versatility. Full metal restorations can be manufactured in either non-precious alloys, semi-precious alloys or precious gold alloys.

Porcelain Fused to Metal

Porcelain Fused to Metal (PFM) restorations are widely known for their aesthetics, bonding properties and strength. They’re also recommended for cases where extremely dark stumps are present. Despite all-ceramic materials having become extremely popular, the classic PFM continues to provide excellent results.

IPS e.Max

IPS e.Max provides similar characteristics as Layered Zirconia in regards to being highly aesthetic. However, the final product can be achieved with minimal porcelain layering or a full contour stain. IPS e.Max restorations require the provision of a stump shade to ensure the final shade is not affected by the underlying tooth.

IPS e.Max Veneers

IPS e.Max Veneers are favoured over other all-ceramic veneers as they require minimal prep and offer impressive bonding techniques. They produce high aesthetics that consist of natural contours and shades.

Layered Zirconia

Layered Zirconia is suitable for small or large scale anterior cases as well as full mouth restorations where a more natural but highly aesthetic result is desired. Furthermore, Layered Zirconia can disguise darker stumps and ensure the underlying colour is not seen.

UT Monolithic Zirconia

Ultra Translucent Monolithic Zirconia is highly recognised within the dental industry for its high translucency and good aesthetics, without compromising on strength. UT Monolithic Zirconia is more durable than other all-ceramic restorations, making it suitable for large anterior cases, implant restorations and anterior or posterior bridges.

Acrylic Dentures

Acrylic Dentures are ideal for patients who have lost or had most of their teeth extracted as the acrylic base sits in the ridges of the mouth. Small Sterling Silver clasps can be placed on existing teeth for extra retention. The benefits of an Acrylic Dentures is that they can be relined after time if they start to become loose.

Acrylic Dentures
Flexi Dentures (Valplast)

Flexi Dentures (Valplast)

Flexi Dentures are completely metal free and are ideal for small or large restoration, valplasts can not be relined or have tooth additions made once complete. The benefits of a Flexi Denture is that they are aesthetically pleasing, retentive and discreet.

Cobalt Chrome Framework

Cobalt Chrome Frameworks can be made thinner than other dentures, therefore patients find it easier to adapt to wearing them and find them more comfortable.

They are extremely durable and are recommended for patients who have deep bites and very minimal occlusal space. There are different options available when it comes to the clasping as we can provide either chrome clasps or pink / clear valplast clasp for patients who are concerned about aesthetics and do not want any metal showing. The retention that Cobalt Chrome Frameworks provide is excellent and the chrome clasps can be tightened at any point to ensure a tighter grip.

Occlusal Splints

Clear Splints

Occlusal Splints and Clear Splints are manufactured in a hard/soft material. They are both successful against teeth grinding and bruxism. They will ease pain and prevent further destruction of your patients teeth. They are self-adjusting for increased patient comfort.

Essix Retainer

Essix Retainers are manufactured in a very thin and clear material. They are ideal for patients who have recently undergone orthodontic work as they prevent teeth migration. As Essix Retainers are quite thin they are found to be more comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time.

Bi Laminate Splints

Bi Laminate Splints are manufactured in a soft material which means they are only to be used against very minor bruxism and to provide protection of crowns and veneers whilst sleeping.

Silencer

The Silencer® is similar to a mouth guard as it is placed over the teeth however it carefully repositions the patient’s lower jaw whilst they sleep. By repositioning the patient’s jaw the Silencer creates more space in the patient’s airway to minimise snoring, whilst also stabilising the lower jaw and tongue.

Michigan Splints

Michigan Splints are manufactured in a very hard material. They are ideal for patients who experience extreme bruxism and teeth grinding.

Orthodontics

Expansion Plate

An expansion plate is an appliance used to widen the upper jaw and to correct any bite discrepancies caused by an overcrowded or narrow upper arch.

Space Maintainer

A Space Maintainer is a permanent retainer that is designed to keep adjacent teeth apart when a tooth has been extracted or a tooth has not erupted yet. This ensures that teeth do not migrate into the open gap. They are not visible to others, are extremely durable and can not be damaged or lost accidentally.

Hawley Retainer

Hawley Retainers are ideal for patients who have recently undergone orthodontic work as they prevent teeth migration and are popular due to their durability. They are easily removed for eating and oral hygiene and do not stain easily.
